There is a growing corps of folks who get excited about a rare bird sighting at their home feeder. Did you know that Wilmington State Parks creates a green corridor used by birds and other wildlife to find food and shelter in an urban environment. Joe Francis, President of the Delaware Ornithological Society will be telling us all about the wide variety of birds that can be seen right off the paths in our parks and give us tips on how to observe them in their natural habitat. Our partners, Huxley & Hiro, Wilmington's premier independent bookseller will be on hand selling field guides to get you started. A wine and cheese reception will follow the presentation.
